On Tuesday, Shaquille O’Neal took a break from covering the NBA Finals to go out with a famous friend.
The 51-year-old NBA Hall of Famer had dinner this week with YouTube star Brittany Renner at the Beverly Hills Hotel. According to TMZ, the occasion was “nothing more than two friends catching up.”

While O’Neal wore light-wash trousers, a zip-up, and sneakers, Renner—who has a child with Charlotte Hornets forward PJ Washington—opted for a white dress and a colorful purse.
According to TMZ, the pair arrived together at about 6 p.m., shared a lunch, and then left just before 8 p.m.

Although images of the outing have already generated excitement online, the source was informed that O’Neal and Renner had “there nothing romantic going on.”
The NBA analyst was formerly married to Shaunie O’Neal and was in Denver this past week for the first two games of the 2023 NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets.

The former couple married in 2002 and divorced in 2011. They have four children together.
O’Neal claimed responsibility for his broken marriage to Shaunie on “The Pivot Podcast” in April of last year. He said that he “messed up.”
