A tweet saying about Sam Ponder is involved in ‘BIGOTRY’ is liked by the Sarah Spain

Nancy Armour, a columnist for USA Today, wrote a critical piece about ESPN host Sam Ponder over the weekend. On Sunday, I responded to that foolish column. Sarah Spain, a fellow ESPN “talent,” is the only one who has not responded to that column.

Spain preferred Armour’s tweet endorsing the post, though. Armour claims in the tweet that Ponder’s position on biological men participating in women’s sports—which is the reasonable and logical opinion that they shouldn’t be permitted to—“has nothing to do with ‘fairness’ and everything to do with bigotry.'”

ESPN was contacted by OutKick for a response. We enquired as to the company’s position on Spain’s claim that Ponder is exhibiting “bigotry” by contending that biological men shouldn’t compete against women.

We also questioned the network about whether it was OK for one of its stars to like tweets that implied another talent was a bigot.

ESPN chose not to respond to any of the questions.

Sam Ponder, an ESPN colleague, is implied to be a “bigot” in a tweet that Sarah Spain loves.

The phrase “ESPN on ESPN crime” is typically frowned upon at the organization. The network will not be thrilled to watch one employee publicly criticize another employee.

Additionally, Spain is promoting a USA Today piece that is a rival to ESPN. Spain needs to look for work at USA Today if she connects more with its material than with those of her coworkers at ESPN.

This portion of the story is hardly noteworthy because Spain frequently refers to other people as “bigots.” Do not forget that she referred to the Tampa Bay Rays players who declined to partake in Pride Night events due to their religious convictions as “bigots.”

ESPN did not publicize that video footage as the network would often do and buried Spain’s viewpoint.

It will be fascinating to watch what the company does when one of its other employees is the target of one of Spain’s “bigotry” attacks.
