With Carlos Correa’s Bad Knee & Poor Performance Showing Up, Mets & Yankees Dodged A Bullet
In almost every ballpark in the league, Carlos Correa has grown accustomed to hearing jeers; nevertheless, on Tuesday, he was jeered by Target Field’s home crowd for the first time.
And he believes it to be quite fair.

Even though the Minnesota Twins are in first position in the AL Central division, the team’s lacklustre offence continues to irk Twin Cities supporters.
Carlos Correa, a $200 million shortstop, maybe the source of their unhappiness since he is aware of how they feel.
Matt Moore was fortunate Hunter Renfroe caught Carlos Correa's flyout where he did. But he gave up a home run to Kiriloff, which Mickey Moniak dove into the stands and toppled over the short wall in right field for, but was unable to make the play. Correa’s batting average dropped to.185 after he failed to get a hit in five at-bats on Tuesday night. Tuesday’s Twins’ loss to the San Diego Padres saw Correa go 0-5 at the plate and leave six runners on base. Twins fans jeered their hero following his final two at-bats.
In recent summer, Correa re-signed with the Twins on a six-year contract. “I’d boo myself too with the amount of money I’m making if I’m playing like that,” he added.

After a strange few months in which he supposedly had agreements with the San Francisco Giants and the New York Mets before both deals fell apart, Correa made a surprise return to Minnesota in the winter.
How is that choice holding up five months later? Unfavorable for Minnesota.
Dodger Stadium organist is the best! Trolling cheater Carlos Correa after every strike out.

Correa is cutting right now.185/.263/.363 in 124 at-bats with 23 hits. He recently went 0-for-5 in the Twins’ 6-1 defeat to the San Diego Padres, and as a result, he felt obligated to address his recent form slump in front of the media.
The booing would have been considerably louder at CitiField if Correa had been performing that way.

It seems like a bullet that was avoided at this point. Can you picture spending the money on him only to find that payroll and luxury tax were both greater and this team was even worse?
Sho Strikeout 7✅

The Mets & Giants can look back on that fleeting period and pat themselves on the back for side-stepping that future catastrophe.
The Houston Astros chose Carlos Correa first overall in the 2012 MLB Draft, and in June 2015, he made his MLB debut. Correa has played in the Major League Baseball with the Minnesota Twins, where he is presently employed, as well as the Houston Astros.
