Mahomes & Kelce Vs Curry & Thompson To Face Each Other In A Golf Match
On the golf field, the NBA and NFL champions will square off. The Golden State Warriors guards Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson will compete against the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce in the eighth episode of Capital One’s “The Match,” Warner Bros. Discovery announced on Wednesday.
“All four players are among the biggest winners in professional sports today,” Warner Bros. Discovery said.
The football and basketball players will play 12 holes of Golf during the televised charity event, which will air on TNT.
This will be the seventh iteration of this unusual event, which has previously helped various charities earn almost 35 million dollars and provided 27 million meals through Feeding America.
On June 29, “Capital One’s The Match” will be broadcast live from Las Vegas.

Mahomes & Kelce Vs Curry & Thompson To Face Each Other In A Golf Match
This is the seventh episode of The Match, a Warner Bros. Discovery Sports production, and the first one to include a matchup between NFL and NBA duos.
Mahomes made his The Match debut last summer, going up against Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady with Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen. Mahomes and Allen missed the last hole.

In 2020, Curry made his The Match debut alongside Peyton Manning in a matchup versus Charles Barkley and Phil Mickelson. Curry/Manning was defeated 4 and 3.
Both Kelce and Thompson will be playing in their first Match.
The two will undoubtedly engage in a lot of trash-talking, especially Kelce. The Kansas City Chiefs have won the Lombardi Trophy twice and appeared in three of the previous four Super Bowls. Curry and Thompson, meanwhile, have won four Larry O’Brien awards, most recently in 2022, and are aiming for a fifth this playoffs.

Curry is most likely going to steal the show. In the Ellie Mae Classic on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2017 and 2018, he demonstrated his professional golf prowess.
The Match will be held at Wynn Golf Club for the third time this year. Tom Fazio created the 6,722-yard, par-70 course, and his son Logan recently modified it. The venue offers elevation changes and uncharacteristic water hazards on 12 of the Las Vegas course’s 18 picturesque holes.

Mahomes and Kelce will take on Steph and Klay in a 12-hole duel on June 29th in the next edition of The Match.
