Nevertheless, despite the increased firepower, Jalen Brunson had to put on an outstanding clutch performance to prevent a loss at home. As they do for every basketball game in the city, celebrities flocked to the courtside seats. A $200 million actress who just shared her experience on Instagram was there in the audience.

She praised the Knicks for winning the game as she felt the fervour of the basketball mecca. She also praised Randle for a specific reason in addition to everything else.

Alba stated that Knicks star Julius Randle had invited her to the game in a post on Instagram on Wednesday.

“Congrats @nyknicks on the W! Thank you @juliusrandle30 for the invite, you are a kind soul and it was awesome watching your leadership on the court,” Alba wrote as her caption.

Randle was on pace for a triple-double after 38 minutes of action, helping the Knicks win Game 2. His New York team tied the series at one when he finished with 25 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists.

The mother of three, who wed movie producer Cash Warren in 2008, supported the Knicks as they won 111-105 to tie the series at one game each.

With wife Kendra by his side since 2017, Randle had 25 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists.

The 22-year-old Gardner, who spoke to media about the excursion on Wednesday, claimed that Rodgers, 39, made fun of him because he didn’t know who Alba is.

“When we were getting seated, [Rodgers] was just picking on me a little bit for being young,” Gardner said. “We were getting seated and he was like ‘we’re about to sit by,’ what’s her name? ‘We’re about to sit by Jessica Alba,’ and I’m just like ‘Oh, I don’t know who that is.’ And he just  looked at me, he looked at me like I’m crazy.”
