Aaron Rodgers Welcomed With Loud Applaud At Rangers-Devils Game

Aaron Rodgers was seen at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night watching Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs between the New York Rangers and the New Jersey Devils.

Massive cheers from the audience, which was probably made up entirely of New York Jets supporters who are as excited as ever about Rodgers’ coming, erupted as they saw him appear on the jumbotron high above the ice.

The brand-new New York Jets QB was there for Game 6 of the New York Rangers’ first-round playoff series against the New Jersey Devils on Saturday night.

The Rangers, who are 3-2 behind in the series and facing elimination, needed a spark after dropping three straight games to rivals Metropolitan Division rival.

As New York defeated New Jersey 5-2 to force a Game 7 of their first-round playoff matchup, Rodgers and Rangers supporters celebrated at home.

The four-time MVP was traded to the Green Bay Packers and New York Jets last week. He expressed his desire to bolster the organization’s trophy cabinet during the opening news conference.

With running back Breece Hall and wide receiver Allen Lazard, Rodgers attended the game after being traded to the Jets from the Green Bay Packers on Wednesday.

“I’m an old guy so I want to be part of a team that can win it all and I believe this is a place where we can get that done,” he said.

They returned the No. 15 overall pick, a 2023 fifth-round pick, and the Super Bowl XLV MVP while giving the Packers the No. 13 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft, a 2023 second-rounder, a 2023 sixth-rounder, and a conditional 2024 second-rounder that becomes a first-rounder if Rodgers plays more than 65% of the snaps next year.
