QB Kyler Murray Welcomes The Cardinals New OL Paris Johnson: Bond Is Already Magical

It’s critical that the offensive line and the Arizona Cardinals’ starting quarterback are on the same page. Kyler Murray, the quarterback for the Cardinals, welcomed Johnson right away.

“LFG! Let’s get to work big fella,” Murray tweeted at Johnson.

QB Kyler Murray Welcomes The Cardinals New OL Paris Johnson: Already Magical

With the sixth overall choice in the 2023 NFL Draft, the Cardinals strengthened their line of defence on Thursday night by selecting offensive lineman Paris Johnson Jr. from Ohio State.

It is clear that Murray’s opinion is being heard inside the building because Johnson was really chosen by the Cardinals.

Murray may miss a few games next season as he continues to recuperate from an ACL tear. When he comes back onto the field, Johnson will be covering his blind side.

At Ohio State, offensive tackle Johnson was an All-American and a Big Ten All-Star. In Arizona, he should be unstoppable if he remains healthy.

Johnson repeatedly mentioned his belief that he was destined to play for Arizona when he met with reporters immediately after the Cardinals selected him with the No. 6 selection.

“You could really ask my mom or anybody in that area. After the first two picks I was chilling, as soon as the Cardinals were on the clock, I was staring at my phone the entire freaking time. I was locked in from that moment,” he said.

“I told everybody before, we were doing the red carpet that, not the media, but I told my family like, “I feel like I’m going to be a Cardinal today. If I’m not, I’m going to be a little sad.”

Johnson is only continuing the legacy of his father, Paris Johnson Sr., who was selected by the Cardinals in the 1999 draft.

Some others believe Johnson was meant to be in Arizona.
