Padres’ Fernando Tatis Jr Post Return From Suspension Dances To Chants “He’s On Steroids”

Fernando Tatis Jr. is aware that he will be the focus of haters all season long after serving his 80-game drug ban.

Tatis appears to like playing the bad guy when he and the San Diego Padres are on the road, if his behavior on Tuesday night is any clue.

Fans in the Wrigley Field bleachers could be heard shouting “He’s on steroids!” at Tatis when he was playing in right field during the fifth inning of the Padres’ 6-0 defeat to the Cubs.

Tatis started a spontaneous dance performance rather than ignoring the supporters.

Tatis Jr.’s ability was recognized by the San Diego Padres early on, and at the age of just 22, before the 2021 season, they gave him a huge 14-year contract.

The Padres were confident in their choice after hitting an NL-best 42 home runs that season. Fernando Tatis Jr. appeared to be unstoppable at the time.

The young Dominican, though, tested positive for drugs in August after missing the first part of the 2022 season due to injury.

However, Fernando Jr. was reminded of the punishment that would follow him for the remainder of his career during a recent game in Chicago.

Kade McClure, a Giants prospect, recently expressed his displeasure with Tatis after giving up a huge home run to Tatis and calling him a “cheater” in a since-deleted tweet.

“Cheater hits a homerun on a rehab assignment during a steroid suspension,” McClure wrote in response to a tweet that read, “Kade McClure will be telling people for years about the time he gave up an absolute nuke to Fernando Tatis Jr.”

Well, its not necessary that once a cheater is always a cheater. He faced the punishment for what he did and everyone deserves a second chance so lets see how this season and return plays off the padres player Tatis Jr.
