Paul George Openly Challenges Jalen Ramsey & Derwin James For Football: ‘me and you one-on-one’

Considering that Game 1 of the NBA Playoffs is just around the corner, Paul George has his eyes set on more than just an NBA title. He is also thinking of a different foe. George claims he intends to blow all the smoke this season on Jalen Ramsey after reportedly setting fire to NFL free safety Terrell Burgess in the offseason.

According to him, he wants to compete against the greatest if he is going to demonstrate his route-running and receiving skills. The Clippers forward discussed facing Samsey in a 1 on 1 contest during a recent episode of his Podcast P show:

“I think I’m elite. If I’mma challenge a football player, I gotta go for the best. Jalen, Derwin [James], I want the smoke this summer, me and you, one-on-one. After that, we can play ones in basketball, but I need that football smoke.”

Another player named by George is Derwin Jones. James is a well-known NFL player and regarded as one of the best in his position. It appears that Paul George really means what he says when he claims to want all the smoke from the NFL’s top players.

George discussed lining up against Giants safety Terrell Burgess on his podcast.

Paul George said in the video that he and Terrell Burgess faced off in a significant one-on-one in which PG stunned the audience. LeBron James and Kevin Durant, two NBA stars, participated in flag football during a previous lockout, but George seems to want the same respect.

“I’m literally at home watching Ochocinco, Randy Moss, I’m watching Odell, I’m watching these dudes like, ‘How the f**k do they get off the line?’ Fast forward so now we’re on the field TB (Terrell Burgess) is like ‘Alright come on P, I’ll guard you.”

“So I’m like ‘bet!’ He get up on me, he pressing me, I’m like, ‘Alright, I’m comfortable with this.’ So I hit him with the huh huh, shook him a little bit on the line, first one I come back huh, catch it, he lines up on me again. I hit him with the huh huh fake out, swim move, come back in for the slant.”
