“Sometimes people disgust me”- Draymond Green Calls Out Haters For Creating False Rumors About Struggling Teammate Andrew Wiggins

The Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green provided some details on Andrew Wiggins’s situation. The reason Wiggins isn’t with the team wasn’t mentioned, but Green made sure that supporters understood not to joke about and to stop spreading stories when people don’t know what they’re talking about.

Although Green didn’t go into detail about why Wiggins is out or if he knew the reason, Green let fans know that these rumors are ridiculous and a complete joke. Green feels that this conversation should just be about basketball.

“I want to let you all know how ridiculous most of you people are at life, Green said on his podcast. “Like, the fact that a rumor about Andrew Wiggins – I don’t know if it’s true. I’m not here to confirm whether it’s true or not. I really don’t care. It ain’t got nothing to do with me – you know, you hear stuff like that and you care for, like, him and her, and their children, you know?

“So, I care from that perspective, but, like, whether what y’all said is true or not really like has no bearing on my life. Nor does it have any bearing on your life. That fact that basketball – and I always say this on this podcast – like the fact that basketball that people are so bad at evaluating basketball that you start to run with someone’s personal life to try decide, like, why they’re not playing basketball.”

“Imagine if you were missing time at your job and someone started a whole rumor about your kids not being yours. … Like, that’s ridiculous, man.”

From a chance Facebook post, there was a rumour that Andrew Wiggins’ wife had cheated on him. Even if anything may be true, it’s best to avoid making assumptions about what’s happening. Everyone has no idea what Wiggins may be going through personally.

As a fan, it’s usually preferable in circumstances like these to refrain from commenting on it and instead wait for the outcome. It’s essential to respect his and his family’s privacy since there’s a reason why he’s been gone for more than a month at this point. Green did the best thing by addressing the rumour!
