The Utah Jazz selected Azubuike with the 27th pick in the first round of the 2020 NBA draft. The Utah Jazz made the announcement that they have signed Azubuike on November 24, 2020. Azubuike made his G League debut on February 10, 2021, after being transferred to the Salt Lake City Stars, the Jazz’s NBA G League club.
