Bubba Wallace: Career
Wallace’s victory at Talladega Superspeedway in the 2021 fall race, the first of his career and the first for newly established 23XI Racing made him the second Black driver to claim a Cup Series victory. At Kansas Speedway in 2022, he achieved his second victory and his first while driving the No. 45 car. In 2018, Wallace’s rookie year, he came in second to William Byron for the Sunoco Rookie of the Year award.

Wallace also had two more top-10 finishes and finished second in the Daytona 500. Wallace, who has six total victories in the Craftsman Truck Series, made history at the Martinsville race in 2013 by becoming the first African American to do so.
