Marakovits started her career in Allentown, Pennsylvania, working for Service Electric, where she covered the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, as a pre-game, post-game, and sideline reporter. In addition, Marakovits covered sidelines for the broadcasts of college basketball, indoor football, and football.
