Odell Beckham Jr Mocks Giants For Trading Super Bowl Hero Kadarius Toney
In Super Bowl LVII, Kadarius Toney unexpectedly emerged as a hero for the Kansas City Chiefs, and Odell Beckham Jr. has made fun of the New York Giants for letting him go in October.
On Sunday, as was to be expected, Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts stole the show as both quarterbacks shone in the Chiefs’ shocking 38-35 victory at State Farm Stadium. But in the fourth quarter, Toney turned the game around, and his dedication effectively gave the Chiefs the victory.
Your friendly reminder that the Chiefs gave up a compensatory third-round and sixth-round draft pick for Kadarius Toney.

Odell Beckham Jr Mocks New York Giants For Trading Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl Hero Kadarius Toney
The former University of Florida student, taken by Big Blue in the first round (20th overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft, scored a touchdown for the Chiefs on Sunday in the Super Bowl 2023 in Arizona. With 12:04 remaining in the game, Toney received a ball from Patrick Mahomes and walked in for a 5-yard touchdown, helping the Chiefs take their first lead at 28-27.
In the end, Kansas City defeated the Eagles 38–35.

The 24-year-old returned the punt 65 yards down to the Eagles’ 5-yard line. It set up a 4-yard touchdown pass from Mahomes to Skyy Moore to put Kansas City ahead 35-27 with 9:22 remaining. On the return, Toney reversed the field from left to right, beating the Eagles’ defenders up the sideline and nearly taking it all the way to the house.
Toney has mostly been a non-factor for the Giants throughout his tenure with them due to injury. In just 12 games for Big Blue, he only caught 41 passes for 420 yards and no touchdowns. Toney was traded away in October by the Giants and general manager Joe Schoen.
Kadarius Toney’s 65-yard punt return was the longest in Super Bowl history – he describes it to me right here…
Plus, when I asked him why the Chiefs worked out after being traded by the Giants mid-season?

Odell Beckham Jr., a fellow former Giants receiver, appeared to enjoy a little bit of seeing Toney do well in the big game after his previous club outperformed him.
“And they traded him … .. (two crying laughing emojis),” tweeted Beckham, who last year’s Super Bowl with the Rams. “I just feel like life is ALLLL about situations.”
And they traded him….. 😂😂 I just feel like life is ALLLL about situations
