American professional basketball player Cole Anthony plays for the NBA’s Orlando Magic. He represented the North Carolina Tar Heels in college basketball. He was regarded as the top point guard in the 2019 class and a unanimous five-star recruit. Cole was selected to the USA Today All-USA first team as a senior and was named the McDonald’s All-American Game, Jordan Brand Classic, and Nike Hoop Summit’s most valuable player.

Anthony was named to the third team of the ACC in his freshman year at North Carolina despite missing six weeks due to injury. At the 2018 FIBA Under-18 Americas Championship in St. Catharines, Ontario, Anthony competed for the United States. He contributed a team-high 18 points in the championship game, in which the United States defeated Canada 113-74 to win.

He was selected for the all-tournament team after averaging 14.3 points and 4.2 assists per game. In 2016 and 2018, Anthony took part in the USA Basketball men’s junior national team’s October minicamp.
