NBA All-Star Voting Results Are Out Posted on January 15, 2023 by Vaishnavi Andhare How are the NBA All-Star voting results determined? 50 per cent of the votes cast to choose the starting for the NBA All-Star Game were cast by fans. The remaining 50% was distributed between media personnel and active players. Two guards and three frontcourt players from each league are represented on each ballot. NBA head coaches select reserves, while league commissioner Adam Silver selects injured replacements as needed. Then, the All-Star captains will choose their teams from the available players (starters in the first round, reserves in the second round). The players who receive the most fan votes in each conference will be chosen as captains. They are not required to draught according to position or conference affiliation.
