“The Hard Hitting Analysis Only Colin Cowherd Could Come Up With”- Fans Roast Colin Cowherd for Bizarre Take on Brian Daboll’s Future

Going into the 2022 season, there were a lot of doubts surrounding the New York Giants and how well they would fare this season. Despite a poor start to the season, the Giants picked up as the season went on and made a strong run to secure their place in the playoffs. The Giants were led by Brian Daboll who has been a breath of fresh air for the Giants fans ever since he was appointed both for his coaching style and his personality. 

The Giants have had rough patches, but for the majority of the 2022 season they have been impressive. Out of the 17 games they played this season, the Giants won 9 and lost seven. They also drew one game against the Washington Commanders.  

Brian Daboll has his job secured 

Ever since he took over as the coach of the Giants, Daboll has taken the team from strength to strength. In his first year as the coach he led them to their first playoff berth since 2016. And this season he has led them the playoffs once again. Therefore, it was very obvious that Daboll’s job was never under any scrutiny. 

However, for Cowherd, that was not the case. In a recent interview, he spoke about the Bills and the security of Daboll’s job. He said, “So the Giants do not, They look at themselves and they’re organizationally strong, historically relevant, traditional laden. They don’t just want to be banging around and moving around. So I think they have made a decision upstairs. They told Brian Daboll, we’re not getting rid of you. I think Daboll getting into the playoffs secures two more years in the contract for Brian.”

Given it was such an obvious decision that Cowherd did not need to make an analysis of, the comments naturally roasted the talk show host. 

One fan said, “Man, I feel better now. Was really worried for Daboll.”

Another fan added, “The hard hitting analysis only Cowherd could come up with.”
