A professional basketball player for the NBA’s Phoenix Suns, Bismack Biyombo is from the Republic of the Congo. The Sacramento Kings selected him with the seventh overall choice in the 2011 NBA Draft and later traded him to the Charlotte Bobcats (now Hornets). On January 9, 2011, Biyombo made his ACB League debut for Fuenlabrada against DKV Joventut. In the NBA Draft of 2011, the Sacramento Kings selected Biyombo eighth overall. However, on draught night, the Sacramento Kings traded Biyombo’s rights to the Charlotte Bobcats.

Biyombo and the Bobcats agreed to a multi-year contract on December 19, 2011. He and the Toronto Raptors agreed to a two-year contract on July 18, 2015. Biyombo and the Orlando Magic agreed to a four-year contract on July 7, 2016. He agreed to a 10-day deal with the Phoenix Suns on January 1, 2022. In 2022, the Suns re-signed Biyombo on July 5.
