Additionally, he was a member of the NBA All-Rookie First Team. Nunn inked a contract with the Lakers in August 2021. However, a knee injury forced him to miss the entire 2021–22 campaign. Nunn was chosen to compete at the 2012 FIBA Under-17 World Championship, which took place from June 29 to July 8, 2012, in Kaunas, Lithuania. Nunn once again assisted Team USA in winning a gold medal, much like at the 2011 FIBA Under-16 Americas Championship.
