“Need to be There”: Buffalo Bills Safety Stefon Diggs Overcomes a Cop to be There For His Teammate Damar Hamlin, Who is Battling For Life in Hospital

Wide receiver Stefon Diggs went above and above to be by teammate Damar Hamlin as the football community awaited word on his condition as the Bills’ safety. The Buffalo Bills teammates are certainly still in shock from Damar Hamlin’s terrifying accident and are awaiting word on their buddy. not Stefon Diggs, though. On the field, Hamlin received CPR for a while as his teammates gathered around him to pray.

The NFL announced in a statement that Damar Hamlin was hospitalized and was in serious condition. Stefon Diggs, a teammate of Hamlin’s, reportedly came to the hospital after the game was called off, according to ESPN’s Coley Harvey. The University of Cincinnati Medical Center determined that Hamlin was in serious condition and transported him there.

Stefon Diggs meets Damar Hamlin at hospital

According to Coley Harvey: “The NFL announced in a statement that Hamlin was hospitalised and was in a serious condition. Stefon Diggs, a teammate of Hamlin’s, reportedly came at the hospital after the game was called off, according to ESPN’s Coley Harvey. The University of Cincinnati Medical Center determined that Hamlin was in serious condition and transported him there.”

There are others at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, besides Stefon Diggs. Outside the hospital, a group of Bills and Bengals supporters has gathered to pray for Hamlin’s recovery.

Harvey said that Diggs had to explain to an officer that he was the friend of Damar Hamlin as he made his way into the building.
