Who is Charissa Thompson “90-day fiancé”, she jocked about on Fox NFL?

American television host and sportscaster Charissa Thompson works for Fox Sports. Thompson has previously worked for Versus, GSN, ESPN, and the Big Ten Network. She and Marcellus Wiley co-hosted SportsNation until June 2013, when she left ESPN for Fox Sports. When the new Fox Sports 1 network debuted on August 17, 2013, she was named its host (the first day of Fox Sports 1). She also served as one of the Ultimate Beastmaster’s American hosts. Thompson served as a co-host of the syndicated entertainment news program Extra from 2014 until 2017.

On the “Fox NFL Kickoff” episode for the new year, Charissa Thompson provided the humor.

The show featured a “Knives Out”-style parody that mocked NFL playoff candidates vs pretenders before Sunday’s schedule of games. As the “Buccaneers” tried to build their case, a detective channeling his inner Benoit Blanc said, “That’s like saying you’re the sanest person on ’90 Day Fiancé,'” referring to TLC’s hugely successful dating series, as the “Buccaneers” tried to prove their case.

Thompson was aware of the remark and made a joke about having a “90-day fiancé” and later added, “You’ve gotta laugh at yourself.” The “Thursday Night Football” co-host has been honest about her personal life, but it’s unclear to whom she may have been alluding.

On a podcast episode of her “Calm Down” series with Erin Andrews in April 2022, Thompson talked candidly about her separation from sports agent Kyle Thousand. According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Thompson filed for divorce that month after two years of marriage, alleging “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of the breakup.

But Thompson has recently been associated with entrepreneur Steven Cundari. Last summer, the two traveled to Italy, where Cundari posted a photo of Thompson and him on his Instagram account. The kissy face emoji was Thompson’s response to the August 2022 post.
