The Sacramento Kings selected Queta with the 39th pick in the second round of the 2021 NBA draft, making him the first player from Portugal to be selected in the league. He agreed to a two-way contract on August 8, 2021, with Sacramento, agreeing to play occasionally for the Stockton Kings, Sacramento’s G League club. Queta made his NBA debut on December 17, 2021, against the Memphis Grizzlies, garnering five rebounds, along with an assist and a block.
