How To Place Votes For NBA All-Star Game 2023: Explained!
It’s time for fans to start talking about the All-Star game as the 2022–23 NBA season rapidly approaches midseason.
There will always be players who are considered locks to make an All-Star squad, but there should also be a tonne of discussions given the calibre of talent in the league.
Here are the steps to taking part in the All-Star voting.

Fan voting for the 2023 NBA All-Star Game will begin on Tuesday, Dec. 20, and end on Saturday, Jan. 21.
During that window, the league will hold special 3-for-1 voting days, which will allow fans to triple their votes.

How does the NBA All-Star voting process work?
50 percent of the votes cast to choose the starting for the NBA All-Star Game were cast by fans. The remaining 50% was distributed between media personnel and active players. Two guards and three frontcourt players from each league are represented on each ballot. NBA head coaches select reserves, while league commissioner Adam Silver selects injured replacements as needed.

Then, the All-Star captains will choose their teams from the available players (starters in first round, reserves in second round). The players who receive the most fan votes in each conference will be chosen as captains. They are not required to draught according to position or conference affiliation.

Through the NBA app and voting page on NBA.com, fans may select their favourite players. Fans need to create an NBA ID in order to vote.
