Have the Philadelphia Eagles already qualified for the Playoffs in the 2022-23 NFL season?

The Philadelphia Eagles seem to be coasting towards the NFC East divisional title with 12 wins and one defeat in the NFL this season. Jalen Hurts at quarterback has been exceptional and the team as a whole look formidable.

With their Week 14 win over the New York Giants on Sunday, the Eagles confirmed their place in the playoffs for the 2022-23 NFL season. The Eagles are leading the way in the NFC East and became the first team to clinch a postseason berth. The Dallas Cowboys are the 2nd best team in the NFC East division with 10 wins and 3 losses.

How did the Philadelphia Eagles get to the playoffs?

The Eagles won 12 of the 13 games they have played so far. Their only defeat of the season came in mid-November against the Commanders. Nick Sirianni’s side beat the Detroit Lions in Week 1 and continued their winning run of eight games against the Minnesota Vikings, Washington Commanders, Jacksonville Jaguars, Arizona Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Houston Texans before their loss to the Commanders.

The Eagles’ loss to Washington didn’t throw them off track as they bounced back strong with a win over the Indianapolis Colts. They then beat the Green Bay Packers, Tennessee Titans, and New York Giants to confirm their postseason qualification.

Philadelphia Eagles’ remaining fixtures of the regular season

In Week 15 and Week 16, the Eagles will travel to take on Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys. They will then finish the season with two home games against the New Orleans Saints and New York Giants in Week 17 and Week 18 respectively.
