Prince & Princess Of Wales Attend Boston Celtics Game

Catherine, Princess of Wales, best known as Kate Middleton, attended a Boston Celtics versus Miami Heat game on Nov. 30 alongside her husband, Prince William.

On a promotional trip of the United States for sustainability, the pair is in Boston. They attended the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat game, which the Celtics won 134 to 121, as part of their three-day excursion, sitting courtside.

At the Celtics game, the pair was applauded enthusiastically but also subjected to some jeers after their appearance on the Jumbotron. According to Chris Ship, royal editor for ITV News, who was present at the game, there was even applause for the United States of America at one point after William and Kate appeared on the screen.

Middleton wore her antique Chanel royal blue tweed jacket to support the Celtics. She complemented the look with fitted black pants, Gianvito Rossi heels, Shyla earrings, and a Laura Lombardi necklace.

When Middleton and Prince William attended the Copper Box Arena in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London to commemorate Coach Core’s 10th anniversary, Middleton first garnered attention for her choice of clothing. The jacket, which dates to 1995 and features black trimmings and buttons, was worn by Claudia Schiffer to walk down the Chanel runway.

The jacket is reminiscent of a double-breasted blazer by Chanel that the late Diana, Princess of Wales wore in 1991 while visiting Peterborough, England.

The tour of the United States by Kate Middleton and Prince William is their first as the Prince and Princess of Wales. Since November 30, the royal couple has been in Boston, where William will give the Earth shot Prize for Sustainability at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway. The royal family last travelled to the country in 2014 for a trip to New York and Washington, D.C.
