Boston Celtics Star Jaylen Brown Unimpressed Over Royal Presence During ‘Regular’ NBA Game

Through the first quarter of the 2022–2023 season, the Boston Celtics have been the best team in the NBA. On Wednesday night, they hosted some upscale guests who went far for their courtside seats to see a game versus the Miami Heat. The Eastern Conference Finals rematch was one of the three days that Prince William and Kate Middleton spent in Boston for the Earthshot award ceremony. However, Jaylen Brown didn’t care much about their presence on the court.

It was Prince William and Kate Middleton’s first trip to the country in over eight years. The current prince and princess of Wales are presently in Boston, the city where William will present the Earthshot Prize on Friday.

Jaylen Brown unimpressed with the Royal Family’s presence during the match

Forward Jaylen Brown was questioned about playing in front of the royals after the Celtics’ victory. The Celtics player, though, answered quite simply and indifferently.

“It was just a regular game to me,” Brown stated.

More racial uproar preceded the prince and princess of Wales’ arrival in America. The Earthshot award is a program that invites individuals to propose solutions to deal with environmental problems and climate change.

According to the foundation, prizes are given in five categories, with each earning one million pounds, for preserving and restoring the environment, purifying the air, reviving seas, creating a world without waste, and addressing climate change. The Royal visit will include involving stops in Somerville at Greentown Labs and Chelsea at Roca, two charitable organizations.
