In homage of Pierroth Jr., a fierce wrestler well known for landing excruciatingly painful blows, Kittle, 29, and Mexican offensive guard Alfredo Gutierrez imitated the traditional punches to the chest.
After both players connected with kicks to the back of the knees and the torso, the Mexican lineman “knocked out” Kittle with a powerful forearm punch.
Both athletes wore Rey Mysterio Jr. masks but in the customary red and gold hues.
