Watch: Weston McKennie Does A Very Disrespectful Act, Wipes His Sweaty Hands On The Reporter’s T-shirt
At the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, USMNT standout Weston McKennie made headlines after using a photographer as his own towel during the team’s Group Stage match against England on Friday.
McKennie, 24, was about to throw a long throw into the opponent’s box, but it appeared like his palms were too sweaty.

In response to wiping his “sweaty hands” on a photographer’s bib during the World Cup match against England, USA star Weston McKennie has been criticized as “arrogant.”

Before the game’s first intermission, the midfielder went to take a throw-in in the evenly-matched match. But before wiping his hands on the man’s bib, he oddly approached an older photographer who was standing near the pitch.
The 24-year-old Juventus player was criticized for his actions on social media when McKennie casually turned around to retrieve his throw.
The photographer looked puzzled, at first, before laughing off the interaction.
One Twitter user wrote: “The boy McKennie drying his hands on the photographer’s bib is one of the most arrogant things I have seen anyone do.“
Another fan commented: “Eww, McKennie did not just rub his sweaty hands on a photographer, disgusting.”

A third tweeted: “Don’t you have any manners? So disrespectful and arrogant…,” while another added: “Respect your elders!”
Even though the USMNT played well against England, their 0-0 draw puts them in the third position in Group B with only a few points.
The Stars & Stripes had a good effort, but head coach Gregg Berhalter noted that there is still room for growth in his postgame news conference.
Excellent performance by the midfield duo Tyler Adams & Yunus Musah.
Weston McKennie did a great job as mezzala/false winger too.

Harry Kane narrowly missing a header in the final seconds should be considered fortunate for 49-year-old Berhalter.
With a victory over Iran, the USMNT will advance to the tournament’s knockout round, while England could book a spot in the Round of 16 with a tie against Wales.
