Arkansas’ Coach Eric Musselman Let His Anger Out On The San Diego State Fans

During his tenure at Nevada in the Mountain West, Arkansas coach Eric Musselman developed a reputation as a coach with a temper.

Following an event that happened right after Wednesday night’s thrilling end in the third-place game of the Maui Invitational versus San Diego State, it doesn’t seem like that reputation will be changing anytime soon.

Fans of Arkansas are well aware of their beloved coach’s occasional temper. His coaching team has had to stop him or hold him back several times when his emotions got out of control.

Only a small number of Razorback supporters were present for one of his most outrageous performances on Wednesday night, though.

Arkansas’ Eric Musselman Let His Anger Out On The San Diego State Fans

According to numerous sources, Eric Musselman hurled a number of foul remarks at San Diego State supporters who were seated behind the team bench in the cramped gym where the game is played. Due to the venue’s tiny size, everything that happened throughout the game and thereafter could be heard, and this is what triggered Musselman’s rage.

According to several sources, Eric Musselman got into a heated argument with some supporters and had to be dragged away by his staff. Multiple witnesses claimed to have heard the Arkansas coach yell, “Go F#@% yourselves!” while holding an L, the international elementary school emblem, on his forehead to convey his opinion that they were a bunch of losers, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.

He apparently had an argument with Matt Bradley, a guard for San Diego State, which only made matters worse. Whatever was said was sufficient to incite rage in the Aztec player, who upset a chair.

Everything went berserk at that point. A father of a player, according to reports, was among the San Diego State supporters who stormed the floor in an attempt to physically assault Musselman for his disrespectful postgame behaviour.

The Arkansas coaching staff had to keep one player in particular after he managed to get fairly close to Musselman.

Eric Musselman is expected to act professionally, and forming your fingers into an “L” and placing it on your forehead to let someone on the opposite side know you think they’re a loser is not professional.
