Although he did mention that the Titans do have a policy in place whereby if someone needs a ride — regardless of the time of day — the organisation will get them one, he declined to say whether alcohol was provided on the team plane following the victory.
The Titans issued a statement on Friday saying, “We are aware of the reports about Todd Downing and are in the process of gathering additional information.”
“We all have a great responsibility as members of this community, as coaches and players of this organisation, as fathers, husbands and teammates to make great decisions,” Vrabel said, “and we understand that.”

The NFL said it has been in contact with the Titans and will review the matter.
Last night, the Titans had many reasons to rejoice, but inevitably, things got out of hand. Tennessee improved to 7-3 with the decisive 10-point victory over the Packers thanks to a season-high 27 points from Downing’s offence.
Since 2005, Downing, 42, has served as a Minnesota Vikings, St. Louis Rams, Detroit Lions, Buffalo Bills, and Oakland Raiders assistant coach in the NFL. After serving as the tight ends coach for the Titans in 2019 and 2020, he has become the team’s offensive coordinator since 2021.

The next Sunday, Nov. 27, against the Cincinnati Bengals, is the team’s next scheduled game under Mike Vrabel. It’s unknown how Downing will fare in that game and subsequent ones.
