LeBron James Takes A Dig At Lakers By Stating Example Of Packers’ QB Aaron Rodgers

On Thursday, LeBron James may have made a dig at the LA Lakers’ management while watching an NFL game. James cited the Green Bay Packers as an example of a team that didn’t trade picks to maximise the value of a transcendent player like Aaron Rodgers.

On Amazon Prime Video, James and his agent, Rich Paul, hosted a different “Thursday Night Football” broadcast. With co-host Paul River on the show, it appeared to be an episode of “The Shop.”

Jamie Foxx, Rob Lowe, Jalen Ramsey of the LA Rams, and former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant were among the celebrities who attended. Early in the third quarter of the Packers vs Tennessee Titans game, “The King” continued by talking about Rodgers’ current status in Green Bay.

“When you get a transcendent player like Aaron Rodgers, we know the quarterback position in the NFL…that’s the most important position in the NFL,” James said. “Why wouldn’t you surround that when you got the picks to maximise what he can do?”

Paul Rivera then chimed in:

“Are we still talking football or are we talking basketball?”

It was immediately clarified by LeBron James that it was football after the question was met with laughs. James defended his viewpoint while pointing out that it might also apply in a basketball scenario.

The Green Bay Packers ultimately lost the game under Aaron Rodgers’ leadership. The Packers have come under fire for failing to choose and acquire enough talent to surround Rodgers with. Despite being among the best ever, the quarterback has only won one Super Bowl in 2010.

LeBron James is nearing the end of his professional career, and his chance to win a fifth title may be dwindling. The Los Angeles Lakers lack the foundation to compete this season, but they may get better by exchanging players and future first-round picks. However, taking such action does not ensure the Lakers will win the championship.

James reportedly wants the LA Lakers to trade their two unprotected first-round picks to enhance the roster, according to widespread rumours. James’ injury to his adductor has kept him out of the last two games, and the Lakers have a 3-10 record thus far this season.
