“The Guy’s an Alien”- Tyreek Hill Clarifies Recent Comments Claiming Tua Tagovailoa Being More Accurate With Passing Than Patrick Mahomes
One of the major moves in the off-season was the transfer of Tyreek Hill from the Kansas City Chiefs, where he won the Super Bowl to the Miami Dolphins. This came as a shock to many, but it gave the Dolphins a huge boost to their receiving corps. In the off-season, Hill shared his thoughts on his new quarterback, saying he was more accurate with his passes than his former quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Obviously, this is not something that sat well with Chiefs fans as well as Patrick Mahomes fans. Hill recently took the chance to clarify his statement. He said, “many people took that as I was saying, ‘Oh [Tua’s] better than Patrick Mahomes.’ I never said that. We all know Mahomes is playing a different ball game then everybody.”

Tyreek Hill continued, “The guy’s an alien. We played against Tua in 2020, Miami versus Chiefs, and I had a chance to watch him sling the ball. And he was completing passes to guys who are, you know, not [stars]. He didn’t have Jaylen Waddle at the time. I was like, ‘This guy can sling the ball.’ I already had that memory in my head.”

Tyreek Hill’s comments came as a surprise to Mahomes, who said, “I’m surprised a little just because I felt like we love Tyreek here. We’ve always loved him. We still love him.” While there is not animosity between the two men, such comments never do any good for a relationship between former teammates.
A closer look at Tyreek Hill and his debut season with the Miami Dolphins
Tyreek Hill has slotted in really well in his new team and took almost no time in doing so. He has built a really good chemistry with Tua Tagovailoa and the pair have been one of the most destructive pairings in the league.

So far this season, Hill has 76 receptions (1st in the league), 1,104 receiving yards (1st in the league), and three touchdowns to his name. It will be interesting to see where Hill and the Miami Dolphins finish this season.
