The roster for Philadelphia is loaded with a special mix of young talent and seasoned leadership in key areas.
The Eagles’ eleven starters are either under contract for one year or are expected to become free agents, which makes the situation particularly special.
Even after trading for Robert Quinn today, C.J. Gardner-Johnson last summer, and A.J. Brown and Jordan Davis on draft day, the Eagles still are scheduled to have six picks in the 2023 draft, including two in the first round – theirs and the Saints’.

While Darius Slay’s contract only has one year left, Jason Kelce’s is year to year. Unrestricted free agents include Quez Watkins, Jack Driscoll, Shaun Bradley, Derek Barnett, Jalen Hurts, K’Von Wallace, Rick Lovato, Josiah Scott, and Derek Barnett.
In addition to the obvious need for a cornerback, Philadelphia also has looming needs for a defensive tackle, linebacker, safety, and possibly another edge rusher.
