Jeff Bezos To Buy Commanders? Michael Irvin Predicts Bezos Will Take Aaron Rodgers Away from Packers

Jeff Bezos To Buy Commanders?

Although the Washington Commanders aren’t even officially up for sale yet, it seems like buyers are already stacking up, and Jeff Bezos appears to be one of them.

As reported by People Magazine, Jeff Bezos is interested in purchasing the Washington Commanders, according to a source close to the businessman.

According to their source, Bezos, 58, is “looking at buying the Washington Commanders” after current owners Dan and Tanya Snyder revealed on Wednesday that they were thinking about selling the NFL team.

Bezos, who is currently the fourth-richest man in the world, will not be constrained by money. Forbes estimates that Bezos is worth $112.9 billion, making him the richest NFL owner if he were to purchase the Commanders.

Bezos would have to participate in a bidding procedure in order to purchase the team. He would then need the endorsement of the 32 league owners.

According to the insider, Bezos is considering making the purchase, “perhaps in conjunction” with Jay-Z. The rapper formerly owned the Brooklyn Nets.

Michael Irvin Predicts Bezos Will Take Aaron Rodgers Away from Packers

When Irvin watched the Kansas City Chiefs play the Los Angeles Chargers in September, he noticed Bezos seated next to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. This observation led to Irvin’s prediction. “Thursday Night Football” has moved to Bezos’ Amazon Prime Video.

“When I saw Roger Goodell and Jeff Bezos sitting there during the first “Thursday Night Football” game, I immediately thought, “Oh, God. Someone has to abandon their team. You know Bezos is going to attempt, so somebody’s got to give up their team. I alone had that thought, “Irvin spoke to Fox News Online.

Michael Irvin took a step further despite the possibility that his forecast would be accurate.

Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers, a future Hall of Fame quarterback, will someday wear the burgundy and gold, according to him, once Bezos assumes power in Washington.

Irvin thinks the Packers are gradually attempting to move past Rodgers, who is finding it difficult to manage a youthful, struggling offence. Green Bay has dropped its last four contests.

The Washington Commanders are valued at $5.6 billion. Irvin is confident that Bezos’ first move after taking over Washington is to bring in Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. “Give it a year or two. Aaron will be in Washington,” the 3x Super Bowl champion said.
