“That’s a Question for Him”- Todd Bowles on Whether a Divorce Will Distract Tom Brady From Performing on the Field

After months of speculation, rumors, and articles, the news that we all awaited and dreaded was finally confirmed. On Friday, both Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen shared on their respective social media handles that they had parted ways amicably after being together for 13 years. Reports suggest that Brady’s decision to return to football is something Bundchen could not digest and many say this was the final straw for her.

After the end of the 2021 season, Tom Brady pulled the curtains on an illustrious career that saw him win a record-breaking seven Super Bowl titles with two teams. It is understood that both Brady and Bundchen were excited for the second phase of their lives to start so that Brady could spend more time at home with his children.

However, after 40-days of retirement, the ‘GOAT’ announced that he was returning to action. Ever since Tom Brady made that decision, he bid farewell to his marriage. A football season lasts for a better part of six months and being away from your family for so long is something that takes a toll on both the player as well as the family.

Head coach Todd Bowles shares his thoughts about Tom Brady and his recent announcement

After the announcement was made, in a recent press conference, head coach Todd Bowles was asked if the developments in his personal life would affect Tom Brady on the field. To which Bowles replied, “I can’t say for sure,” Bowles said, “Tom is a very private person. He does his job when he’s out here and he smiles a lot and that’s really all you can go by.”

“ I think everybody — no matter what profession — [when] you go through some things, it’s how you handle it and come out of it. I’m sure he has something weighing on him when he leaves work and everything. I don’t know how much, I guess that’s a question for him.”

“”I would not consider changing coaching, but we need to change some of things we’re doing.” ”

Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans will be hoping that Brady and co can turn it around after a horrendous start to the season which might not see them make it to the postseason.
