Neiman Marcus’s Christmas Catalogue Offers Fans A Chance To Play Against Scottie Pippen & His Son

For just $333,333, you can have the chance to fulfil any basketball fan’s desire this holiday season. For the chance to play a game of two-on-two with Scottie Pippen and Scotty Pippen Jr., Neiman Marcus is asking that amount.

The two-on-two scrimmage with the Pippens is referred to as the “ultimate sports experience” in the 2022 Neiman Marcus Christmas catalogue. The buyer of the experience will be permitted to invite a buddy to Los Angeles for a complete encounter with the father and son.

“Thanks to Neiman Marcus Concrete Runway and Talent Resources Sports, now it’s your turn and a friend’s turn to play against this dynamic father-and-son duo and learn a trick or two on the court,” the description reads.

The purchaser will also be treated to a private supper with Pippen and Pippen Jr. in addition to the basketball game. There will also be a Digits bourbon tasting as part of that. An autographed copy of Pippen’s book Unguarded completes the deal.

Pippen will give $278,000 to the Chi Prep Academy, a nonprofit institution that “promotes high standards through academics, entrepreneurship, and athletics,” according to the advertisement in Neiman Marcus.

Pippen, one of the greatest players in NBA history, played a significant role in the 1990s Chicago Bulls dynasty. Pippen led the Bulls to six NBA championships alongside Michael Jordan and finished his illustrious career with 18,940 points, 7,494 rebounds, 6,135 assists, and 2,307 steals.

Pippen Jr. joined the Los Angeles Lakers as an undrafted free agent in the summer after playing three seasons at Vanderbilt. On October 18, against the Golden State Warriors, he made his NBA debut.

NBA Fans Roast Scottie Pippen & Son

It appears that it might not be enough, though, as some fans have begun to criticise the offer on Twitter, claiming that the package’s pricing is absurdly excessive.

Evidently, many Twitter users believed that this was merely a transparent attempt to raise money for the former NBA star, mostly for Neiman Marcus. We’ll have to wait and see if anyone forks out the cash for the supper and game.
