source The Buffalo Bills’ new stadium will cost roughly $1.4 billion, according to estimates. Roughly 60% of that money will come from public funds.
The Buffalo Bills currently call the Highmark Stadium their home and have done so since 1973, which makes it the fourth oldest stadium in the NFL at the moment. Therefore, the creation of a new state-of-the-art facility for one of the best teams in the league only makes sense.
It is reported that the stadium will cost a whopping $1.4 billion, $850 million of the funding will come from state and county taxpayers – a record amount for a stadium. This has caused widespread criticism and anger from local residents who do not see the vision the club has for the stadium.
The best way to start your morning. 😍

This is the second stadium deal that has been announced in the space of less than a month. Earlier this month, the Tennessee Titans also announced the creation of a new stadium that will cost in excess of $1 billion as well. However, unlike the Titans, the Bills will not have a stadium with a dome. Rather, it will feature an inside bowl and stacked seating design to provide some protection from the winds and snowy winters.
A closer look at the Buffalo Bills and their season so far in 2022
Going into the season, the Buffalo Bills were the clear favorites to win the Super Bowl ahead of Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. While many may have doubted them at the start, seven-game weeks into the season, it is all but clear that Allen and his men are a championship-winning team.

Whether or not they actually win it is another story given Bills’ record in Super Bowl finals. It will be interesting to see if Allen can lead the Bills to their first Super Bowl win since 1965.
