Ex-NFL Star Brandon Marshall Didn’t Like How Zach Wilson Responded To Elijah Moore’s Trade Request

Brandon Marshall isn’t happy with how Zach Wilson handled the trade request situation from Elijah Moore!

Elijah Moore, a wide receiver for the New York Jets, has come under fire this week after requesting a trade from the organisation. However, a former Jets receiver claims to be on Moore’s side.

Brandon Marshall Stands With Elijah Moore!

With Kay Adams of FanDuel TV’s “Up and Adams,” Brandon Marshall, who spent two of his 13 NFL seasons as a Jet, discussed Moore’s position on Friday.

“He handled it totally wrong. he should’ve said, ‘This is my guy, and I’m gonna figure out ways to get him the ball.’ He came out with other excuses that were valid, but you don’t say that publicly. You go to your guy and say, ‘I’m gonna find a way.'”

Brandon Marshall stated that he supports Moore’s desire for more passes to come his way, even though he preferred that Moore approach the problem privately rather than openly requesting a trade.

“I just spoke to Elijah Moore probably 30 minutes ago, and I told him I support him; I told him I’m in his corner,” Marshall said. “And a lot of people don’t like that. I’m a big Jets fan, and Jets fans are going to be mad at me, but I told him, as a wide receiver, you get paid to catch the ball.”

Moore won’t be participating in this week’s game against the Denver Broncos, the Jets have confirmed.

“We love him,” the QB said when asked about Moore’s unhappiness. “I know how important he is to this team. We’re going to do everything we can. We’re winning games. We’re having a lot of fun. Really all we can do is keep learning and growing and letting him know that I need him.”

Brandon Marshall understood that Jets supporters wouldn’t agree with his interpretation of the events when Moore demanded a trade while his team was riding a three-game winning run. However, he is forgiving Moore for being miffed about his position and is confident the Jets can resolve the issue.
