Pittsburgh Steelers Coach Brian Flores, Who Sued Miami Dolphins, Denver Broncos, New York Giants, and the NFL For Alleged Discrimination, Doesn’t Want Revenge vs Dolphins

For the Miami Dolphins, this is the week when everything comes together. After Monday, owner Steve Ross’s ban will be over. In the prime time on Sunday night, former coach Brian Flores—whose accusations against his previous squad led to the punishment for his ex-boss—returns to South Florida as the linebackers coach and senior defensive assistant for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

On Sunday night, Brian Flores will return to Hard Rock Stadium to take on the Miami Dolphins. He will enter Hard Rock Stadium for the first time in a week and a half after being sacked as the head coach of the Miami Dolphins in January, despite leading the team to its first back-to-back winning seasons since 2003.

On February 1, Brian Flores filed a complaint for discriminatory hiring and firing practices against his former employer, three other clubs, and the NFL.

Brian Flores doesn’t seek revenge on the Dolphins

Flores claimed that he is not seeking revenge despite being fired and filing a lawsuit against the team as a result. Flores, who was fired by the Dolphins after two winning seasons, said he has “a lot of good memories” with them, according to ESPN’s Brooke Pryor.

“No, no,” Flores said. “That’s not the way I’m looking at it now.”

“I don’t have bad memories of the place. When I think of that place, I think of all the relationships that were built there that are bigger than football and will go a long way beyond football. There’s a lot of those that like that there, players, coaches, support staff. That’s kind of where my thought process goes.”

For claimed discrimination in their employment procedures, Brian Flores sued the NFL, the Dolphins, the Denver Broncos, and the New York Giants. He said that Stephen Ross, the owner of the Miami Dolphins, offered him $100,000 for each defeat in an effort to ruin the 2019 campaign.

While the inquiry did not uncover any proof of Flores’ tanking allegations, it did discover that the team had improper interaction with Sean Payton and Tom Brady.
