Klay Thompson Mocks ESPN For Interviewing Ronnie 2K, Calls Him A “Clown”

How Did the Beef First Begin Between Klay Thompson & Ronnie 2k?

Given their recent social media exchanges, it’s clear that Klay Thompson and Ronnie Singh aren’t the best of friends. The Warriors sniper first complained about NBA 2K 2023 on social media because he was dissatisfied with his 3-point shooting performance. One individual, and one man only, offends Klay Thompson.

Klay Thompson tied for second place with Desmond Bane, Kevin Durant, and Luke Kennard with a 3-point shooting rating of 88. Stephen Curry, who had a rating of 99, was deserving of the top rank, although there was a dubious margin between him and the runner-up.

Nevertheless, Ronnie 2K, who is not one to remain silent, responded to Klay Thompson by clapping back in an interview with Sports Illustrated’s Joey Linn.

“I believe that for those guys, it is a badge of honour. Something that is undoubtedly discussed in the locker room,” according to Ronnie 2K.

“Despite Klay’s claim that he hasn’t played NBA 2K since the Dreamcast, I am aware that this is untrue given how much he values his rating. I recognise him as a gamer tag, and he plays it just plenty.”

Thompson Mocked ESPN For Interviewing Ronnie 2k!

On Monday’s episode of “NBA Today,” ESPN featured an interview with Ronnie Singh, better known by his stage moniker “Ronnie 2K.” Singh is the franchise’s de facto spokesperson and the official digital marketing director for the well-known video game “NBA 2K.

Klay Thompson, a star for the Golden State Warriors, was not at all pleased to see Singh given a platform on ESPN.

“Y’all really interviewed this clown?

” Thompson wrote in an Instagram comment. “I thought NBA on ESPN meant coverage of some of the best athletes in the world. Not interviewing a promoter …. Do better, ESPN.”

This comes only a few days after Thompson criticised Ronnie 2K after Curry and he defeated Moses Moody and Jordan Poole in a 3-point shootout while the Warriors were on tour in Japan.
