It’s no secret that the Buccaneers and Tom Brady haven’t had the best of starts to the season, but the seven-time Super Bowl champion wants to reassure the team’s devoted fan base that he still has faith in his squad to perform better.
Following Sunday’s humiliating loss to the 2-4 Steelers, Brady rushed to Instagram on Monday to promise that Tampa Bay will improve after a disappointing 3-3 start.

Tom Brady and the Bucs’ most recent disaster occurred Sunday afternoon in Pittsburgh when the offence again struggled and lost to the Steelers, 20-18. During the game, Tampa managed just one touchdown and four field goals.
Brady, who finished the game 25 of 40 for 243 yards and a touchdown, was the most frustrated person. The Tampa quarterback was spotted berating his offensive line on the sidelines in the last second of the first half, upset with the offence’s lack of success.

The Buccaneers rank 20th in the league in points per game, averaging just 20.2 per game, so the scoring problems started well before Sunday’s defeat to the Steelers. Tampa has struggled in the first half of games this year, scoring just three touchdowns in the opening 30 minutes.

Next week, when the Buccaneers take on the mediocre Carolina Panthers, they will have a chance to turn things around. If Tampa Bay prevails in that contest, they will be able to surpass 500 once more. However, Tom Brady and the Buccaneers should be given the benefit of the doubt, given his track record. This weekend’s game against the 0-5 Panthers will be the first opportunity for the seven-time Super Bowl champion to fulfil his vow to Tampa Bay supporters.
