Prior to the Packers’ Week 3 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, Stokes was designated the starting opposite cornerback Jaire Alexander due to starter Kevin King’s ongoing troubles and injuries over the first two weeks of the season. The following week, during a 27-17 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, he made his first NFL interception on a Ben Roethlisberger ball.
