Does Antonio Browns’ Latest Legal Troubles Spell the End of His NFL Career?

Antonio Brown is in the news once again and unfortunately, as is the case in the past few years, this time around it is not for something positive. The former Super Bowl champion is being sued by a Florida man for selling him a fake watch. According to a report by TMZ, Ryan Kane is suing Brown for selling him a Richard Mille for $160,000, knowing it was a fake but assured him that the watch was worth $400,000.

Once Kane bought the watch, he took it to an insurance agency to get it appraised and get it ensured it was then he learned that the watch was fake and is therefore suing the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver for $160,000 plus interest. Kane alleges that he later learned that Brown bought several such watches from a seller in Dubai for less than $500 apiece.

Antonio Brown has been taken to court multiple times over the past couple of years – twice for allegedly scamming people he owed thousands of dollars to, and once for a violent encounter with a mover. Browns’ behavior is becoming increasingly disturbing. Brown, who was once considered to be someone who could be in the conversation for GOATS in wide receivers, has had a sharp fall from grace and finds himself without a team and in the news for all the wrong reasons.

Antonio Brown crosses the line once again

This is not the first time this week that Brown has been in the news for the wrong reasons. Earlier this week, Brown faced the wrath of the NFL community after he posted a picture with Tom Brady’s wife Gisele Bundchen. Brady and his wife are currently going through a divorce and poking fun at the man who gave him a second lease of life in the NFL is not something the fans could digest.

Given the legal troubles are only increasing for Brown, it does not look like he will ever find a place in an NFL team. Brown seems to have seriously compromised mental health, which makes it tougher for teams to rely on him week in and week out to be consistent with his performance and, more importantly, a consummate professional.
