Dallas Cowboys : Dak Prescott & DeMarcus Injury updates
Following their 23-16 victory over the New York Giants on Monday Night Football, the Dallas Cowboys are currently 2-1. After Prescott got injured, Demarcus almost injured his foot but avoided the injury smoothly.
A Pro Bowl edge rusher took control of the game, and the Dallas defence once again demonstrated why it is a top-notch squad. But that one isn’t it, no. Micah Parsons, a Cowboys “lion-backer,” made some minor changes to the game, but it was defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence who terrified Giants quarterback Daniel Jones the most.

A closer look at Cowboys DE DeMarcus Lawrence's night vs. Giants. He recorded three sacks and influenced a fourth despite missing two second-half series with a foot injury. He returned to help close out Monday's win. pic.twitter.com/mvyzV6UOfF

DeMarcus Lawrence Almost got Injured!
After the game, Lawrence stated, “Feels wonderful. “Micah and I were engaged in a small wager, and I believe I fell somewhat short. I approached it because my body felt terrific today, and the energy was high. We’ll keep competing because I want all the boys to be the best versions of themselves, as well as me.”
That might have been the best game I've ever seen Demarcus Lawrence play.
According to @PFF's initial review, Lawrence totaled nine pressures, six hurries, three sacks and tw0 stops.

Dallas should be happy to see Lawrence playing as he did against New York. Lawrence’s performance establishes a duo that the opposing quarterback will be terrified of, especially with Parsons already making a strong case for Defensive Player of the Year.

In the third quarter, Lawrence departed the field with what appeared to be a foot problem. After spending some time on the turf chatting with trainers, he eventually left on his own. However, he went to the locker room and the sideline medical tent for additional examination on his left foot, the same one he broke in 2021 and missed ten games due to.
DeMarcus Lawrence used to reference Eli Manning as “Little Eli”, so how does he feel about Daniel Jones?

After the Injury scare on Monday, the game was tense for a while, but Lawrence was able to rejoin the action in the fourth quarter. He finished the game with six tackles in addition to his three sacks on just 39 defensive snaps.
DeMarcus Lawrence returned to the game after leaving to be evaluated for a possible foot injury — having delivered three sacks before he did.
I asked how his foot feels.

“I’m okay. The body should be hurting after a tough-fought win like that. I’ll be all right,” he assured media members afterwards. “I didn’t know. I didn’t want to chance it and mess it up more than it was. But it was just a little soreness.”
Dak Prescott Injury Updates
On Monday, Dak Prescott underwent the crucial procedure of having the sutures out of his surgically repaired right thumb. Even while it was a huge milestone for the Cowboys quarterback, it’s still not entirely certain when he’ll be returning.
Cowboys injury report: QB Dak Prescott (thumb) is only player on 53-man roster listed as non-participant today. Limited: DE DeMarcus Lawrence (foot), TE Dalton Schultz, LG Connor McGovern and S Jayron Kearse. Full: WR Michael Gallup, LB Luke Gifford and WR Simi Fehoko.

When asked when he’ll be back on the field, Prescott has been a little erratic. He initially claimed to ESPN that he wasn’t ruling out a comeback in Week 4 against Washington but later changed his tune and said he was looking at Week 5 against the Rams.

What Prescott’s head coach thinks is that he should concentrate on his real recuperation rather than setting a specific comeback date after injury.
“He still needs to cope with some swelling. He will reach the point where he can throw after the swelling and strengthening stages are over. “Tuesday, Mike McCarthy informed reporters.
