Miami Dolphins Practice Recording Scandal: New Details Emerge That Could Serve as a Lesson For Both NFL and Dolphins
In the Thursday Night Football opener for Week 4, the Miami Dolphins go to the Cincinnati Bengals. The Dolphins relocated to Ohio early this week and held a practice session on Wednesday at the University of Cincinnati after Hurricane Ian slammed Florida.
The team sent a thank you tweet to the school for letting them utilize the space after the workout. For the Dolphins, everything appeared to go according to plan. Hurricane Ian forced the Miami Dolphins to depart Florida early this week. At Nippert Stadium, they worked out on Wednesday.
Unfortunately, the Dolphins’ practice on Wednesday was caught on camera. Then, on Twitter, videos of their practice appeared. Obviously, that doesn’t look well for the league.

The Cincinnati Bearcats’ radio announcer, Dan Hoard, provided his opinion on the matter.
“For what it’s worth, the Dolphins were given the option of using the Sheakley practice facility before or after the Bearcats practiced,” Hoard said.
“The bubble isn’t up, but there are probably fewer places for students to watch. Neither facility offers total privacy, and the team was aware.”

It’s difficult to see how the NFL could censure the University of Cincinnati in this case if the Dolphins actually knew about it. The fact that Tua Tagovailoa is practicing is the most fascinating aspect of these films. On Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, he was hurt.
The #Dolphins estimated QB Tua Tagovailoa (back/ankle) as a limited participant in practice today. They visit the #Bengals on Thursday night.
