REVEALED: The Driving History of Browns Star Myles Garrett, Who Was Involved in a Car Accident
Despite the injuries he sustained in a one-car collision on Monday, the Cleveland Browns aren’t saying they won’t field Myles Garrett against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. After his car ran off the road, flipped over, and came to rest, the Browns’ premier pass-rusher sustained scratches, bruises, a shoulder sprain, and a biceps strain.
When Browns defensive end Myles Garrett was involved in a single-car collision this week, police have not revealed whether speeding was a factor.
After the collision, Garrett, 26, was discharged from a hospital in the Cleveland area later that evening. According to the Browns, Garrett has already passed the concussion protocol. Garrett, though, is said to have a history of driving recklessly.

Myles Garrett has had a history of speeding since 2017
Garrett’s Porsche overturned in this week’s collision, which the police are currently looking into the cause of. According to WKYC, Garrett has received at least six speeding fines in the Cleveland region since 2017.

Garrett was pulled over on September 24 of last year for going 120 mph. He received another penalty the very following day for going 105 mph. The 70 mph speed limit on Interstate 71 in suburban Cleveland was violated in each of those incidents.
The state highway police are investigating the collision. Myles Garrett, an All-Pro defensive end and the Browns’ top selection in the 2017 draft, suffered shoulder and bicep injuries in the collision, and it is unknown whether he will play Sunday in Atlanta.
