Is Taylor Swift performing at the Super Bowl halftime show in 2023?
Prepare yourselves, Swifties — Following what appeared to be a significant hint dropped by the NFL on Thursday night, Taylor Swift fans are speculating that the musician could be performing at this year’s Super Bowl halftime show. At the very least, that is what they are thinking.
The soft drink company Pepsi withdrew from its longstanding partnership with the league and its Big Game halftime show in May. On Thursday night, the National Football League (NFL) announced that it has finally replaced the soft drink company with Apple Music as the new sponsor of the Big Game halftime show.
The league did not make any mention of a possible halftime performer for Super Bowl LVII in its statement; nevertheless, according to Taylor Swift fans, it was unnecessary for the league to do so because the timing of the release indicated everything that needed to be said.
The league mysteriously released the information around midnight, which is something that has been connected to Swift for YEARS. She has released two albums since the year 2020, both of which were released around the same time, and she has sung the word “midnight” hundreds of times throughout her tracks.
In the following month, Taylor Swift will also be releasing a new album, which will be titled “Midnights.”
There has never been a time when Taylor has performed at a Super Bowl event, and many people have speculated that she would not accept the task because she is now under contract with Pepsi’s chief rival, Coca-Cola.
However, with Apple Music now integrated, it would appear that Swift will be free to perform “Shake It Off” in front of millions of people during the halftime show of the Super Bowl on February 12 without any problems.
We reached out to the NFL for comment, but we have not received a response as of yet. The NFL has not commented on whether or not the claims are true.
