BREAKING: Brett Favre SiriusXM Put on Hold After His Involvement in the Mississippi Welfare Fraud Case
If you’ve heard of this scandal, it’s probably because former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre was involved. In particular, he received $1 million in federal welfare funds for talks he allegedly did not give, and he also helped direct $5 million toward the building of a volleyball stadium at the university his daughter attended.
Although Favre’s involvement has increased awareness of the topic, it has unluckily confined the emphasis to a single former athlete rather than examining the unusually extensive web of corruption that surrounds the state.
Following his involvement in a Mississippi welfare fraud scam, Brett Favre’s SiriusXM program has been suspended, a business representative confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter.

Brett Favre SiriusXM podcast put on hold
The Brett Favre Show, a weekly Packers recap show, was just suspended by ESPN Milwaukee, according to NBC Sports. Since 2018, the former athlete, who formerly played for the New York Jets and Atlanta Falcons, has hosted the NFL program The SiriusXM Blitz With Brett Favre and Bruce Murray. The program airs on Tuesdays, and on September 13 it was shown for the last time.

The FBI also interrogated Favre, as his attorney Bud Holmes told NBC News. According to the Mississippi state auditor, the federal agency met with the former professional football player about the more than $1 million in speaking fees the state of Mississippi paid him for motivational speeches he didn’t give. Additionally, that sum of money was withdrawn from the state’s welfare budget.
