Eagles legend Donovan McNabb Praises Jalen Hurts
Through the first two games, Jalen Hurts has answered every doubt about his ability to serve as the Philadelphia Eagles franchise quarterback, raising the bar for a team that had high hopes for the new season.
Donovan McNabb, who oversaw the Eagles 20 years ago, went through what Carson Wentz did when he served as the team’s starting quarterback: a young, productive quarterback leading a good group.

After Wentz requested a trade, the Eagles let him go and handed the team over to Hurts. In McNabb’s opinion, Philadelphia is doing better because Hurts is currently a superior quarterback to Wentz.
Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles are undefeated.
For stepping up for an Eagles club that wants to win the NFC East, Hurts has been praised.
Donovan McNabb, a former Eagles player, is one of these admirers. Hurts is currently a better quarterback than Carson Wentz, according to the six-time Pro Bowler, who said as much to Zach Gelb on CBS Sports Radio.

“People need to look at Hurts’ experience and how he got to this position. We’re seeing him being able to put the pressure on his shoulders and being able to move forward with his head high. The change of the offence is better suited for Jalen Hurts.”
Wonders Hurts Achieved
Following his Monday night performance against the Minnesota Vikings, Hurts received a 90.7 passing grade from Pro Football Focus (PFF) for Week 2. In 26 out of 31 attempts, he completed 83.9% of his throws for 333 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He helped the Eagles to a 24-7 victory by scoring twice on the ground as well.
When the Eagles come to town on Sunday, Wentz and the Commanders will be looking for their second victory. Wentz has completed 57 of 87 passes for 650 yards and seven touchdowns in his two games.
