Joe Burrow Takes A Break From Social Media, Deletes Twitter & IG

Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is not interested in hearing criticism of himself or the team after a 0-2 start to the season.

The Bengals signal-caller has recently seen some difficult times, but it now appears that he has taken precautions to prevent any additional negativity by removing social media apps.

Especially after their incredible season last year, in which they reached the Super Bowl and came within seconds of capturing the franchise’s first-ever championship, few people anticipated the Cincinnati Bengals would begin the NFL season with two losses in as many games.

Joe Burrow, their quarterback and leader, has battled at times this season along with his offensive line.

Joe Burrow Deletes Instagram And Twitter

The Bengals have not had the best start to the NFL regular season in 2022–23, but it may be saying the obvious. It’s been amazing to watch them falter to a 0-2 record in the first few weeks of the new season after their stunning march to the Super Bowl earlier in the year. Without being unkind, Cincinnati’s quarterback, Joe Burrow, has had difficulty, which has made things difficult for them.

What’s intriguing, though, is that Burrow himself has made the decision to concentrate on the positive, which includes deleting Instagram and Twitter from his phone. Burrow received harsh criticism on both platforms after suffering consecutive defeats to the Steelers and Cowboys, and it seems he is no longer ready to accept it.

Recognizing the significance of the upcoming game, he advised everyone to take a moment to relax and take a big breath.

“It is obvious that we must perform well and prevail; we cannot lose 3-0. But nobody is in a panic.”

What’s fantastic is that I don’t have access to Twitter or Instagram at the moment, so I haven’t seen any of it, said Burrow. “We’re paying attention to what’s happening in here. Although I’m sure it’s not a healthy response, I believe it will change as things progress in this situation. In addition, Burrow said the relocation wasn’t recent and that both applications had been off his phone for a while.

“We’re focused on what’s going on in here. I’m sure it’s not a very good reaction, but I think it’ll be a different reaction as we get going here.”
